Kickstarter launch success
On September 16, AUS-ION pans launched to the public on crowdfunding platform Kickstarter, and rocketed to full funding in just 3 days of the 37 allocated. In the campaign, which continues to run until October 23, SOLIDTEKNICS offers a series of limited edition AUS-ION pans engraved with 'FIRST EDITION' and the manufacturing date, in return for pledges from backers to help fund the high cost of production of the new Australian pans. Fine Foods Sydney launch success with Australian Culinary Federation:
At Australia's key hostpitality show, Fine Foods Sydney Sept 20-23, the first pre-production batch of prototype AUS-ION pans were a hit with chefs, in action in the two salon culinaire chef kitchens, and displayed in the lounge of the ACF (Australian Culinary Federation). We were very proud to be selected by Australia's peak chef representative body for this launch, and for an ongoing sponsorship partnership to take the news to the chefs that they don't necessarily need imports: Australia now makes the most advanced steel commercial chef pans in the world.
After a long development period, including testing by some of the nations top chefs, and a rocketing launch on Kickstarter, SOLIDTEKNICS is quietly confident the AUS-ION pans will be well-received by the chefs of Australia, USA, UK, Canada, and beyond, for many years and generations to come.
